Head Above Water

My goddaughter Selah asked for an underwater Zoom background with a mermaid and seashells. This illustration is a byproduct of her request!

I was really happy to have made the background for her. I’ve been feeling overwhelmed lately; I’ve been kind of paralysed over what to draw in a lockdown— (something I’m sure everyone is going through.) It was nice to take a simple lead and make something without any pressure. and just layer waves and corals and colours and not focus on the future (or the present).
